Attention! EMC lighting fixtures standard EN IEC 55015:2019/A11:2020 will be enforced this year

The EMC lighting standard EN IEC 55015:2019/A11:2020 will be enforced this year.

 Compared with the 2015 version, the main updates of the new EN IEC 55015 version are as follows:

1. Conducted harassment: The name of the non-power supply port is changed from "control port/load port" to "wired network port/local wired port", and the method of using a current probe for testing is added.

2. 9kHz-30MHz radiation: For EUT diameter >1.6m, the test method and limit value of using 60cm loop antenna in open field or semi-anechoic chamber have been added.

3. Radiation above 30MHz:

① The test frequency of darkroom method is updated from 30-300MHz to 30-1000MHz;

② Increase the limit of full wave and open field;

③ The CDN test method is updated to CDNE, and the limits and measurement equipment are updated and adjusted.

4. The opening size of the conical metal cover used for testing self-ballasted lamps and ELV lamps has been revised.

5. For self-ballasted lamps using GU10 lamp caps, when testing conduction, the conical cover and the lamp cap itself should be connected to the ground of LISN.

6. Correct the aging time of the lamps, and make sure that the LED lamps do not need to be aged before the test, but they still need a stabilization time of 15 minutes.

7. Deleted the insertion loss test.
