It is implemented by the British government and differs from the EU CE regional certification. The core focuses on electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility, and environmental compliance. Products that fail the certification cannot be cleared through customs and will face detention, fines, and market withdrawal risks.

      Unlike other product certifications, the UKCA certification for chargers aligns with the local regulations in the UK, with strict testing standards following the British BS EN series standards. It mainly covers three dimensions. The electrical safety test is based on the BS EN 62368-1 standard, focusing on verifying overcharge, overdischarge, short-circuit protection, and insulation performance, to avoid leakage, fire hazards during use; the electromagnetic compatibility test refers to the BS EN 55032 and BS EN 55035 standards, controlling the electromagnetic radiation during charging, while ensuring the device's anti-interference ability to avoid affecting the UK's public communication; the environmental test conforms to the UK RoHS and REACH UK regulations, checking the content of harmful substances in the materials, and meeting the UK's environmental control requirements.

      The certification processing flow is in line with the export rhythm of foreign trade, with rigorous and efficient steps, without cumbersome redundant procedures. First, clearly define the core parameters of the charger, such as output power, interface type, and fast charging specifications, and divide the certification units. Different specifications of products need to be applied separately; prepare 2-3 samples consistent with the production batch, and simultaneously organize English versions of product instructions, circuit diagrams, risk assessment reports, etc. Then, entrust a third-party laboratory with UKAS accreditation to submit the samples and materials to start full-item testing.
