What is SRRC certification?
The Chinese Model Approval is abbreviated as SRRC certification, which is a national compulsory certification designed to distinguish between the civilian band and the military band in the wireless band. It is the technical management of the spectrum parameters and technical indicators of the radio transmission equipment before it is put into use in the development, production, import, and purchase links. Starting from June 1, 1999, radio component products sold and used in China must obtain radio type approval certification. Domestically produced, sold and used radio transmission equipment must be type approved, and the approval certificate and type approval code must be issued, and the type approval code must be indicated on the label of the factory equipment.
Documents to be prepared for drone SRRC certification application
The sponsor submits the original or copy "Application Form for Approval of Radio Transmission Equipment Model" and "Registration Form for Equipment Testing Information" that have been filled out and stamped with the official seal of the applicant unit (equipment manufacturer); Power of Attorney for the Model of Radio Transmission Equipment;
1. Submit a copy of the "Corporate Legal Person Business License" of the applying unit (including the agency applying unit);
2. Submit the technical specification (including the software and hardware version number) and user manual of the bid equipment model;
3. Submit the circuit diagram and block diagram of the tested equipment;
4. Submit three sets of color photos printed on A4 paper or electronic version.
The nameplate (label) of the inspected equipment; the nameplate (label) must clearly show the equipment model, application unit (equipment manufacturer), equipment serial number and approval code CMIIT ID, and the lower part of the appearance of the photo must also indicate the inspected equipment The size of the structure.
UAV SRRC certification process
1. After the "Radio Transmission Equipment Type Approval Inspection Report", submit the application materials for the "Radio Transmission Equipment Type Approval Certificate".
2. Download the "Application Form for Radio Transmission Equipment Model Approval" from the radio transmission equipment model approval website; the agency applicant must also download the "Power of Attorney for Radio Transmission Equipment Model Approval".
3. The application materials for type approval of radio transmission equipment must be provided in Chinese or English, and materials in other languages must be translated into Chinese or English (the translation unit/department should affix the official seal).
4. The applicant unit or agency application unit applies online, and waits patiently for the certificate after the submission of the documents is accepted. If the submitted information is unqualified, it will usually be returned soon, and it will take time to pay attention.
5. The administrative licensing decision shall be made within 20 working days from the date of accepting the application for model approval.
6. After the applicant unit has obtained the "Radio Transmission Equipment Type Approval Certificate" and its approval code, the manufacturer should indicate the radio transmission equipment type approval code (clearly visible during normal installation) on the approved equipment label. It is true that the equipment is too small. If the approval code cannot be marked on it, the model approval code of the device shall be posted in the product manual or user manual.
